For what its worth...

Registered some time ago but here lately, as things have changed in my life, I am spending more time on POTN. I just can't get over the wealth of information that is here. Simply amazing! I have been over at Miranda's and I notice it is a little bit of the "nose in the air" community. DpReview falls somewhere in-between. This is MHO, others may care to say different but just about anything and everything is here at POTN as it pertains to photography. The people at POTN for the most part are friendly and down to earth... that in itself I consider priceless.

Still learning the mechanics of the forum but it will get better as time goes by. The only negative thing I see coming out of my experience is that it is going to cost me money the more I stay here.... (glass). LOL

Just had one of those moments where I wanted to share my thoughts.

regards,

john

Gotta agree with you. I came here with almost 50 years of experience. I have come to realize just how much I don't know. Lots of folks take the time to post detailed explanations to help me understand things. I really appreciate this site, and the folks who live here.

WARNING: I often dispense advice in fields I know little about!

Yes, I've appreciated this forum, as well as the others. There are still quite a few people who give freely of their time and I've learned a lot on this site because of it. I could do a better job sharing my own experiences though.

I know this thread is a month old, but it's worth reviving our appreciation for POTN!

Agreed! I may not type a lot, but I have to say that just by reading the feedback others get, along with looking at the wonderful work posted I have learned a lot.

from some of the feedback I received, it doesn't matter what I use, people give honest opinions on how to improve, not rant about what I am using.

Great Stuff!

Thanks!
Chris
