I bought a SiRui M-3205X tripod 2-3 years ago. One of the leg is falling off and the center column is falling apart. It was an expensive tripod ($500).
SiRui offers a 5 year warranty for the tripod. I have tried to send them an email and call them but so far no answer.

Question: How do you deal with SiRui for warranty issues? What can I do? Should I trow it into the trash?

Try contacting Argraph, their US distributor. They can probably put you in touch with the right people.

If you bought it from a vendor in the US, the contact for the warranty would be Argraph.

If it was purchased from an overseas vendor (China) you will have to deal with Sirui directly, as Argraph will not help.

I got it from South Korea. I emailed the seller and hopefully he/she will take care of the problem. I am afraid, it will take forever...

I also have a SIRUI T-005 tripod falling apart...there seems to be small little black plastic sheets on each leg to prevent it from sliding out...except 2 of them have broken into pieces!

I've sent an email to SIRUI canada....After reading this thread I'm not too hopeful...

sirui, dose not surprise me! as they haven't been making tripods/ballheads for vary long, gitzo or manfrotto is the only way to go,and the ball heads you really can't skimp on,shop wisely and use care regarding support gear.

Any luck dealing with overseas warranty or warranty within Canada? I'm thinking of purchasing a Sirui T-005kx, but thinking of whether to buy it from CameraCanada or from overseas ($50 cheaper).

I bought mine during a trip to Singapore. I thought it was an international warranty so you should be able to contact your local distributor or the seller. I can't reference the warranty card right now though. I just recently got another K-30X ballhead. I can look on that to confirm.

Could you post some pictures of where it is falling apart?
It may be an easy repair if Sirui don't get back to you.

I ordered a Sirui CT-404 from Hunts online last fall. I ended up breaking the locking lever for the center plate through user error. I called Sirui US and asked for a replacement part and offered to pay for it since I assumed responsibility for breaking it. Sirui sent me a new assembly at no charge. I'm happy with their support and will give their service experience a good score.

I own two pieces of Sirui gear. Both have held up without problems. The K40x, and a Sirui P-424S monopod have performed up to my expectations thus far. I would consider Sirui, but pay attention to where the seller is located. The Sirui Rep in the US will not help with warranty issues if you bought it overseas.

I bought a top of the line Sirui monopod - Model 426S - last October from an ebay seller in Hong Kong.

Possibly a big mistake.

Before it was ever used, an assistant managed to unscrew one of the leg sections, and NOBODY has been able to reassemble this leg. Three PhD's have tried. No luck. Numerous other brave souls have tried. One even disassembled the next section - hoping to reverse engineer their mysterious assembly technique - no luck - as this second section has now joined our collection of unusable Sirui monopod parts.

The only help from Sirui is a curt request to please furnish proof that we purchased from an AUTHORIZED US distributor.

For the record - I have no idea where to purchase "authorized" products from Argraph - who I've just learned is Sirui's only USA distributor.

How can we buy from a company with no identifiable sales channel or locations or whatever?

This smells of real bad business.

Is there anybody who can help us screw this mess together & transform these collars, tubes, shims and parts into a usable monopod? does ANYBODY know how to reassemble these dam legs?

It looks like Sirui will be no help - and the reassembly is ANYTHING but intuitively obvious - and forget their instructions (useless).

Color me frustrated with this "POTENTIALLY" nice product.

Argh,
dale
