This nest was litterally 3 feet from the walking path, and a foot from the ground. A bad place for the warlblers to put their nest.... good for me though. Although they were fledging a couple days later. So I guess it wasn't that bad. Still a big gamble

I want to belly ache about all your "breaks", but then I know you go out and really work for them all. Well deserved and very well done.

Good ones, Trevor. I think you have both mom and dad feeding the young; the male has the chestnut-streaking on his breast and flanks and the female does not.

You've built quite a series of nesting images this year Trevor, and this one is as enjoyable as the others.
I'm glad someone is doing Mom and Dad justice with great images of their hard work. I got a good laugh at the "napper" with it's mouth still wide open.:-)

Yeah me too. He really was napping with his mouth open, and not just closing his eyes for a second. I thought I should clarify, just in case anyone was wondering.
