At least I think this is a Ferruginous hawk. Taken along the interstate near Laramie, Wyoming. I believe this is the first one I have ever seen.

Yes, a ferruginous hawk indeed, and good shots to boot; well done. It's a species I don't recall being posted here before.

Thanks Al. I noticed it on a fence post along the highway, so I pulled over for some pics. He let me get fairly close before flying.
