Jul 11, 2015 19:19 | #1 This is the first time I've been able to capture a Pileated Woodpecker calling. The adult female was nearby too but I wasn't able to get a clear shot of her. The little one appears to be a female, not sure if it's too early to be certain. Distance and shade took a toll on the quality but it was nice to see them active and healthy looking.   Steve
