Unfortunately I was not able to get to Flying Legends, being disabled kind of limits the number of shows I can get to. The disability benefits don't stretch that far. I did make the Spring show, and will be booking tickets for the BoB show in September, that one is going to be pre booked tickets only. At least they do a good deal for the disabled at Duxford, Myself and a helper together for £18.50/day or £23 for both days.

Although not the show you were hoping for, this is a shot from Duxford, and it was this year. The two display Typhoons from 29 (Reserve) Sqn, RAF Coningsby. The first is to commemorate the only Victoria Cross awarded to a member of Fighter Command, Flt Lt James Nicolson VC of 243 Sqn RAF. The colour scheme and marking represent his Hurricane.

The second celebrates the centenary of 29 Sqn

Just something to be going on with, until others have the chance to process/post from this weekend.

Thats not too bad. At the Spring Show I had nearly 3K exposures on the Saturday, and about 2500 on the Sunday. It's great not being limited by film, also means that even with my shaky hands I can get a few keepers, while still pushing the hand holding limits.

I was indeed there and have far too many photos to process but have done a few quick ones. Group shots as that for me is what Flying Legends is all about - that and the Balbo. All I can say about the Balbo is WOW! Pictures and video can't do justice to the sight and sounds of 25 warbirds flying overhead.

This was one of my favourite displays. I have never seen one before and could not believe the size of the thing - and what a noise!

Really nice shots, thank you. How are people able to get over to the naughty area, is it private property? It looks like the place to shot from. Please keep them coming...

That used to be Lefty Gardner's White Lighting for many years over on this side of the pond...
