Only half a day off this week, I still had to shoot something.

Fortunately (for me who doesn't have an a7R II) better DXO scores don't necessarily translate to better pictures and even though my 5DS R doesn't measure up I am still really excited about what I can do with it. These are amazing times - awesome FF sensors avaialble in cameras from Canon, Nikon, and Sony. The most surprising and delighting measurement in the DXO measurements is that great color sensitivity result for the a7R II. Most impressive. Enjoy your superior camera!! ![]() i thought u are getting an a7r2?!!!!! I used the Metabones IV adapter and the lens focuses very fast. The first image is just pointing down the street at 24mm and the 2nd image is at 105mm. I think that one will show you how well the lens and camera work together. I had to reduce the size of the insert or it wouldn't even fit in the 1280px frame. Sep 01, 2015 01:52 | #372 thenextguy wrote in post #17688159 First shoot today with the A7R II and Canon 24-70. I may just sell everything else I own except for the 70-200 f/2.8 and call my kit complete. I'm in love with this setup. ![]() Completely agree. Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.
