Oooo, slingback, peeky-toe pumps! :-P

I like seeing the shadows of the light painting..
Still has a wonderful atmosphere, Levina!

Thanks, Jo. Light painting is really cool. Because the light is totally flexible and you can point the beam where you want I think you can do things that would be hard or impossible to do with normal lighting. I do need a good daylight flash light though as the led flash light I use now has a beam that is too wide for my shots and white balance is a huge problem.

I like the shoes better now! A more aggressive mood now. I think now it needs some lingerie...:-P

Et tu, stetzam?!!! :p

Seriously though, I was hoping you would stop by. Thanks!

I hope all is well now in the dental area, OhLook?

It's becoming clear that this tooth can't be saved. We all tried--me and the dental team, for years.

Chair scenes I thought of but didn't find: A chair being made; a chair being repaired; seats in a theater or auditorium.

A comfy chair, but not my preferred chair to sit (or lie) in!! I hope all is well now in the dental area, OhLook?

Ooh, you two is bad!

LOL. As it happens, I tried again last night. I wasn't going to post it here as I think nobody wants to see the same darn scene again but now that you dare me, here we go. I used different shoes because they have higher heels and hang better from the chair. Red on red, ouch... Also added a few props. I think it's the best shot yet. And sorry everybody for another one of these. It's Mark's fault.

Another lovely take on "the scene" Levina. I love the red shoes with the red chair, not too keen on the belt though. The light painting is perfect this time.:-D But...But...But...You didn't do the wine thing.

You've gotta do another one!:-P

Hey Steve, that sounds like Boots Bar and Grill. Be sure to send me some pics of that table when you get it built. Sounds like a great project. Maybe we will have a theme on tables by then.:-)

I could live in that chair, Tim! A lovely pic too.

I do quite a bit of reading, so my wife frequently tells others that I live in that chair. :-)

Sorry to hear about the tooth. I had the same issue and ended up with an implant that works great.

I took a couple of shots of an outdoor theater with chairs at the State Fair, but they weren't very good because of the deep shadows and noon time bright sun mixed together.

Tim

I am writing to an old thread, but I liked Levina's ideas and wanted to copy it. As always copies are not so good as the original. I did not like the result at all!

took 2-3 photos with light painting from a head torch, but I could not capture any mood...:-(

^interesting though, esp. the first one (too many shoes in the second?)
a car with wind-up windows also adds character.... what is it?

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Cool! And it's not that bad at all, stetzam. I do agree about the missing mood though. Light is too even or too flat for that. Next time try a flash light with a narrow beam so you can paint specific areas instead of the light spilling over everything. :)
