I use NeatImage. There's a free download somewhere. It works great.

I also use NeatImage Pro. I LOVE it! I have it on my mac and on my PC (they gave me a small discount for buying both), though I think I had to upgrade to Pro+ on the PC to use it as a plugin. Still, very inexpensive for a filter that does such amazing things!

Below are a couple pics I fixed from an old PhotoCD file. I'm no pro, but I think they look pretty good! The first is the original, the second is with NeatImage Pro (via PhotoshopCS2 on my mac).

Ooops! Sorry. I should have read the sticky on posting images before I did that! Well, they're fairly small, I guess...

Ah, I wouldn't worry too much, their under 800 pixels, and their fine examples of the end results from Neat Image (which by the way I also use and love myself) and I'm sure many will appreciate the time you took.

I do not mind a bit of noise ; ) and quite often add more (gaussian, monochromatic).. I really do not see much of a problem with it, but then again, I think it suits my style at times. I guess it all depends on what you are doing with the imgae : )

I like noise in B&W, but I can't stand colour noise.
