Getting here in summer even without carrying gear is more than a little exhausting, let me tell you.

There are color differences between all of them (deliberate) because I processed them individually rather than as a cohesive group. Some were shot with a strobe and some weren't. They were all shot with the Canon 24-70 f/2.8 II. Thanks for looking!

QUOTED IMAGE

For me, this one stands out as the best of the group. I don't know why; probably the composition.

My one comment would have her walk up the dune so that only her footprints are in the sand. The trampled sand around here is distracting to me (perhaps I'm just a neat freak).

(OK, two comments) I really like 8 and 9 where there are no footprints/trampled sand.

A bunch of stuff.

thanks... yeah I actually cleaned up about 90% of the footprints but the ones closest to them were the hardest to get rid of convincingly so I left them and just dodged/burned them a little instead. We weren't the only ones there that day :-/

hmm...I would of liked to see a bit darker exposure on the sky. I also don't like the theme. I mean, the outfits should work with that environment, but the theme just looks out of place to me.

Other than wanting to see a little darker exposure on the sky, composition and lighting is good.

Hmm, ok, fair enough.

Belly dance = commonly practiced in Egypt and/or the middle east = lots of desert = coincidentally lots of sand dunes

(the theme was "promotional shots for [actual] belly dancers [In their own costumes that they perform in] on sand dunes without traveling to the middle east and doing it there instead like lots of other belly dancers [Based in the middle east] do"). Just wondering, what sort of outfits WOULD you like to see on sand dunes? Not asking out of sarcasm, I'm really curious :)

FWIW, I thoroughly disagree with these comments. Funny how we all look at the same images and have completely different reactions, but I think the shots are fabulous.

Liked them all.
Image 10, the wrinkles in her feet (near toes) were a little distracting for me.....

I feel the black and white photos work far better than the colour in this instance. IMHO.
