What is the reputation and quality of this flash. I can't decide between this or the 600ex flash. I know its a manual only system but would be worth it if the light output is substantially greater than the 600ex. Thoughts and comments from those who have used or have the Cheetah CL-360?

Yes on every question. The CL-360 is an awesome light not to mention all the extra power you will have compared to the 600ex.

I have not used this specific brand but one of the manufacturer of series of flashes to which the Cheetah CL-360 also belongs.

I am puzzled by your question because you want to compare are to areas that have no connection with each other.

For more information I can point you the MOTHER of all topics over this flash over here and the link is:

It is almost 6000 postings long and contains all the information you want to know about this flash.

Thanks for the responses. I like the portability of the speedlites but want more power and yet still have portability without braking the bank and felt the cheetah fit the bill.

Or Godox, Interfit, Walimex, Neewer, Lencarta, Adorama and I am sure I forgot a lot of brand names for this exact same flash, manufactured by Godox.

I can't decide between this or the 600ex flash.

Do you own an ETTL capable flash? What are you intending on shooting?

I had a 430exii that I just sold to upgrade to the 600ex but then started reading about bare bulb flash and thought maybe I should give one a try instead of the 600ex for now. I am just a hobby shooter and enjoyed using the 430exii in manual mode most of the time.
