Can anyone give me brief summary of the cheetah light 400? A local pawn shop has one, the head itself has littoe in the way of markings, and the battery pack says cl400. I know the cheetah products have evolved rapidly and I dont see much about this model on tjeor website.

LOL the original CL-light it came in a ring flash or the strobe head. Its one noisy little guy it beeping till it ready to fire which is reversed to other strobes where they only beep once when ready to fire.. I'm sure if you get it your going to need to replace the battery. If you can get if for a cheap price its a good little strobe for being a few years old. I use the bags that came with those to carry and store my cl-600's. The metal box case that comes with the cl-600 are first thing I threw away. I also use the reflectors off these since they are 7" over the 5" ones that came with the cl-600.

They want 240 for it. I'm probably going to pass, ive got ABs and white lightings and vagabonds. The newer cheetah stuff with the HSS is intriguing but not looking to invest in old tech outside my current brand. Good lord my typing is bad on the tablet. Camt fix the typos in te OP
