Finally encountered this buck at the mine site where I work. The mine is located on a Crown game preserve. We watched each other for a while before he felt a little spooked and trotted off.

Hey, John

I like how you were able to get him surrounded by a wildflower patch - how cool is that?!

Have you gotten a glimpse of him since this encounter? It'd be interesting to track his antler growth over the next month.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Thanks, Tom. There are a couple of areas at the site where the wild flowers run up to the edge of the wooded section so I lucked out when I happened upon him in one of them.

I caught a fleeting glimpse of him last week but wasn't on a break and didn't have the camera with me at the time. Hoping to find him this week.
