600 EX RT off camera second curtain

Wondering if anyone has come up with a simple work around for the 600 EX RT inability to shoot second curtain off camera

Explore the YN transmitter. Fully compatible with Canon, offers 2nd curtain sync and since the 600 becomes the slave it should work. I'd check this out before proceeding.

A sure thing that would work is a long straight ETTL cord. Unfortunately it eliminates the Radio communication. It's like going back in time

Phottix Odin triggers will trigger any flash with SCC. Offers TTL too, but you'd need an Odin Rx under the 600Ex-RT.

I think it's pretty pathetic that a relatively simple function has to rely on third party hardware to work. Canon gets a big thumbs down for this
