I have a Canon 1.4 converter that has suddenly decided to not go on my camera. It just does not twist on. Any ideas?

It will line up and twist about 1/4 turn then stops tightly. I don't want to twist too hard. A 2x converter will go on easily. Any ideas?

Does the lock release lever operate easily?

If it is stiff the lock mechanism might be stopping you twist it on.

Strange problem. Please let us know what it was after you get it back from Canon!

Thanks,
Bryan
