Unwanted/Undesireable grain in well exposed photos issue

I've been playing with my new A6000 and Rokinon 12mm 2.0
I've been getting this undesirable grain in all my images, even at ISO 100.
All of these shots are ISO 600 or less and are Straight OOC at 100%.
I can't put my finger on it, or figure out what is going on. My cellphone takes better images...

Please help!

What you are seeing is not "grain". It is "noise".

Your images are all underexposed. That will cause noise in the image. Try increasing the exposure by a stop or two and you'll probably see quite a difference.

Oh, and when you upload photos from your computer, you are limited to two photos per post. If you have an online "host", that limit is extended to 8.

He means the Sony A6000 camera, it's like the A7 but with an APS-C sensor and no integrated viewfinder.

As for the noise, it depends on whether you added any exposure or shadow recovery in post, if you shot an ISO400 image and pushed the exposure 2 stops, that's like having shot the image at ISO1600 instead.
Poorly exposed images usually show a lot more noise than if you had the exposure set correctly in the camera to begin with, especially in dark/gray/drab colored areas like the ones your images show.

The image looks like any underexposed image with noise reduction turned off and sharpening turned up. The noise is actually not too bad at all and simply applying a little noise reduction will smooth that right out.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point..

What is the destination format of these images? Prints? Web?

My experience has been that noise is best evaluated in the destination format. Almost every time I worry about noise, I find that the images that cause me concern come out just fine when printed.

I agree that they could have benefited from more illumination (better exposure), but I suspect they will be OK once they are printed.
