Just a little BMW 125i, very competent little car.
This was shot for an online review after a days road trip. Single flash and some layered/blended exposures.

Jul 22, 2015 05:20 | #2 Nice colors and blending. For composition I would have rather seen the car on the left driving "into" the image instead of out of it. Sony a7R3a/a6300/ 16-70/4 / 70-200/4 G / 12-24/4 G/ 24-105/4 G /Sony HVL-60M

But at some point you have to leave those ideas behind and try something different. But it's no longer different? People here have been doing that for so long that "Going out" has become the rule. Be a rebel & go ahead & break it. ; ) FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...

Jul 22, 2015 20:42 | #6 My eye first goes to the car, because it's white, but then I find my self drawn to the left top corner of the image for some reason and it's the rear of the car and IMO it would be better if what I end up looking at was in front of the car since it's a quartering towards shot of the car. Agreed. Breaking rules is great when it works. Just doesn't work here, for me personally. Everything is spot on, just would prefer the car in the left quarter of the frame. http://emjfotografi.com/

Not only do I not like the composition of it being on the right, but I think you're missing the point of its angle. You've angled the car so that you can accentuate the front, but by putting it on the right side of the frame, you're seeing less of the grill and its front/left fender area. Imagine the car on the left at the same angle, and you now can see more lines and styling of the front of the car. http://RyanLunaPhotography.com

Sep 01, 2015 14:08 | #13 Great shot! Could use a lower angle to show the power of the machine aka car and also either center the car or put it hard left in my opinion. Could use a little warming on the back end of the car, its a tad cool for the warm feel of the sunset. Product Photographer
