Still working on capturing images of these little birds. Not an easy task... but... a fun one.

Shot with the Canon 5Ds + Sigma 150mm macro or Canon 200mm F/2.8

Thanks for looking.
Hatch

Frank:

I love hummer shots with "pop". Yours do. +1

That being said, at first look, I did not like #1 for the crop. Looking at it several times, I do like the image except for the brownish blob in the right upper corner. My eyes are drawn back to it. IMO, cloning that out and a smaller crop would enhance the image.

#3 and 4 are stunning shots.

Your technical basics are there. Take it a step further and "no feeder".

Hey Frank, ain't it fun?!? The birds are great, imo. Maybe a tad oversharpened, but jeez, I like them. Have to agree w/ Ted re the blob- color just doesn't work w/ the rest of the image. As for the feeders, well, for me the 1st feeder is borderline- probably lose. But that last one, I don't mind at all. It can be said, that is a big part of their "habitat" now. We humans continue to alter. My 2 cents. Post more, please.

Many thanks all. Glad you like the shots. #1 ... I could clone out the wall in the background... I'm sure it would help the image. :)

The next step is I want to use flowers and have the birds photographed in front for nicer looking backgrounds. I've watched a few YouTube videos and I have something in mind. I just need to make it happen :)

Thanks again,
Hatch
