Thank you palad1n. I am strictly taking advantage of Lumia 1020's RAW capabilities so that I can process the photos in Photoshop/Lightroom. I find the 5MP in camera processed Jpeg files to be a hit or miss and very limiting but good for quick share among friends. On he other hand, 1020's RAW files are absolutely awesome. Contains a lot of details I've never seen in any cellphone cameras I have ever come across.
Bluetreefrog, Lumia 1020's main attraction to me was the Nokia's pureview camera capabilities. It is a very unique phone because of it. I also have a number of Android based phones from Samsung, Google, Sony and HTC. Lumia 1020's windows 8.1 built-in and appstore apps cover all that I need in a smart phone that I don't really find myself missing my Android phones much. Too bad Lumia 1020 is the last of its kind from old Nokia since new owner Microsoft does not appear to be continuing the next generation of this camera module.
