I see mixed reviews on people sucessfully using it. What does everyone think? Yes, my interest in this is basically because of the lower price.

thanks a ton. I have been looking for a good flash, but I can't see myself shelling out the $$ for a speedlite model. Especially when buying a better lens is first on my priority list. A camera.

Thought it was me so I went down to our high end photo store and the guy says its not unusual to encounter problems. Bought a 580 at a later date and haven't had the first problem.
