I finally bought a pixelstick with some spare money I had laying around and this thing is a blast! I have only really gotten to use it for maybe 3 hours so but its great fun!
I have just been using the default loaded images (Rainbows/light waves) along with a few packs I downloaded of images. I figured I would share them with you guys and see if you had any ideas or suggestions on how to improve.
Most are shut with ISO 100, ~6sec-15 sec shutter speeds, f8 I believe.
I found that when doing people, I need to light them up a tad more, I looked into a thing called a LED torch but not sure if anyone has any experience. I dont think my flash that I recently bought could really help out with this. But then I run into the issue of someone having to stay completely still for 6-15 seconds? Not going to happen.. So I am open to all suggestions. Also, if this needs to be posted somewhere else let me know! :)
Hope you enjoy a few images and lets hear what you guys have to say about it!

1-Put your camera on a tripod

2-Set People up and tell them to stay still

3-Focus camera and set to 15 secs

4-Start exposure

5-Run to 45deg of the people and use the test button on speed light to fire a flash at the people to light them

6-Pick up other lights and run around making streaks of light until exposure is over

7-Look at shot and adjust flash, people, and other lights as necessary

Also:

.5-Have alot of time and patience

use the flash.

they can either try to stay still and the power of the flash will make those pixels so bright their movement won't matter much, or you can tell them to exit the frame.

so i had heard about this thing but never looked into it. I'm assuming there is a accelerometer in it so that it knows how and when to change the light output?
