Loaded Questions Thread: Sell20D for 30D

Ok, I am getting an offer for my 20D for roughly around the same price that I payed for it. And I had 4 months of playing around with this thing, and it is a fantastic camera.

However, I am travelling to Barcelona for 5 days in Mid April 14th, and I would definitely NEED a camera- NO compromise on this. So do I sell this 20D or not?...and wait to get the 30D. Will the 30D come out in time and have it shipped to me for this trip?

The other problem is that I am located in the UK and I have friends in the USA who are able to get me a North American model- since I am returning back there anyways,...I will need the NA warrantee. So my question is....what are the duties I will be expecting for a 30D camera shipped to the UK?

When is the 30D coming out anyways and what will be the price? thanks.

Its already been released in Australia, and I thought I read it will be released in the next week or so in the UK, I'd let someone else confirm that though.

Unless you know for absolutely sure you'll be able to procure one for your trip, I'd just hang onto the 20D for now, unless you want to sell it now and gamble on whether or not you are able to get one between now and then.

Same image quality. If I just got the 20D, I'd just keep it, unless you must have a feature on the 30D that you don't have on the 20D.
