Turned around on a very steep and loose scree path out of the upper corrie at around 650m due to 50mph winds gusting to 60 or 70, and frequent very heavy rain showers rattling through. I would have gone on but for the weather, but given the reports saying that it's an easy ascent, I feel I must have missed a path somewhere. ...

AnnieMacD Oops, me again More info | Well, it being an 'easy' ascent is very subjective! For Skye, it's one of the easiest but that doesn't mean a walk in the park. You were exactly in the right place - it's very rough and the definition of 'path' is really 'where many other people have gone before'!
