Compact with GPS?

I'd love to have a compact with GPS logging. I know the GPS receiver seems to drain the battery on everything.

Is there one that shoots RAW that has GPS that someone would recommend? What about in other brands? Any other manufacturer solve the problem of battery-drain due to GPS?

I have the SX230 and the problem's not just the battery drain, it's slow getting a fix. What Canon (and others) are offering these days is the ability to link with your mobile phone and get the location data from that. Personally, for my S110 and SX60, I carry a regular GPS and merge the track data with my images when I download. The 5D3 lives with connected GP-E2 and the 7D2 has built-in GPS. However, in general, my preference is for an external hand-held GPS which I can load area maps on, thus doing double duty for me in unfamiliar areas.
