Oh crap, I am hooked!!

A quick question for those with the water shots with boats - presumably the boats are moving some on the water, why aren't they blurred?

And my very first attempt. Not the most inspiring scene, this was shot in my yard. Also some technical issues but not bad for a first try.

Any thoughts / ideas on the technical greatly appreciated.

If you shoot wide and the water is still enough, I guess blur will not be that evident.
The other way would be doing two expositions: one longer for the blurred water, and one faster for the sharp boats.

Anyway, I tried boats twice, so i'm not that experienced. :-D

One of my first serious attempts. Moon was well on its way to full and possibly a little too bright. Shot with a rented Canon 24mm F1.4

From my back yard. Not the best landscape, but the sky was intense. Taken over about a 10min time period.

That was intense, dankin! Great comp!!!

Some nights ago, I decided it would be a nice idea to try a 15 minutes exposition. I came up with this startrail... and figured that such long exposures are not a very good ideia: they produce way too much artifacts.:oops:
