Since the guidelines also limit the file size to 100kB, the only way you can make it bigger and still stay under the 100kB is to use higher level of compression (lower quality number). If you post to a host site like flickr or bytephoto or others you don't have to hold to the 100kb size just the 800 pixel on the longest edge. 100kb is only if you direct link to POTN. the name is Winston but they call me Sandy
