“He didn’t have any lamps in there or even a light meter—he just used the flash on the camera,” Damon said. “I should have known this **** was a complete fraud when I showed up at his so-called studio. He was working out of half his garage with what had to be a bedsheet hanging down. Seriously, his whole setup was crammed between his car and a concrete wall. Dammit.”

YES. I know this is from The Onion.

I'm assuming you know that The Onion is complete satire; not a true news source...right?

Why is there always someone who asks that? I've never met a single person who's ever mistaken The Onion for a real news source.

Wasn't there a politician just recently (+/- year) that fell for one of Onions articles?

gotta remember there a lot of POTN members who are not native english speakers and who may not be familiar with our trusted sources of satire.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

It seems clear that some writers for the Onion must read forums like this one!

The sad part is sometimes the Onion stories are uncomfortably close to reality. This is a perfect example.

That was pretty funny.

And, no, he doesn't look like a superstar in those photos. He needs to get a better photographer if he's hoping to get any acting jobs. It's tough competition in Hollywood. But, he'll get there eventually.

Onions make me cry - this "onion" makes me laugh :)

seriously? since when Matt Damon needs to send headshots for casting directors? and looking for one on CL?
I am sure it has been a while, since he is an A list actor.....
Anyway, yes, it goes along with other tragic stories involving weddings - pretty cool he has such a sense of humor to play along with the Onion
