Hi All, i was shooting a Wedding yesterday and when i went to upload the cards there is a block of 54 files missing from the card,i used the same camera and card from bridal prep up to confetti,
when taking said photo's i know they were there as when i took the photo's i checked for correct exposure, the missing files are in the middle of the set,i not sure if this is a camera issue or card problem
any suggustions more than welcome.btw camera 5d classic card was a Lexer 8gb,never had this happen before.

thanks Sean

Let a file recovery program take a look at your memory card. Hopefully they didn't get overwritten.

Link to a free one called Recuva that I've used: http://www.piriform.com/recuva (external link)

Give http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec (external link) a try if you haven't found it already. The interface isn't the most graceful, but that is one of the common hazards with free and open source technology. I've used it a few times and haven't had any issues with it.

Good luck getting things recovered. Remember to avoid writing to the card until you've gotten everything.
