Stuck Adapter on My T4i

I have a Fotodiox Pro ED to EF adapter partially installed on my T4i body and i am unable to remove it.
Does any one have any ideas on what i can do to resolve this problem.

Did you try attaching a lens to get more surface to grip?...and of course the always obvious suggestion of making sure you press the release button down on the body...

I have tried both but to no avail. I guess i will need to take it in to my local camera shop.
