A first for me...Positive Identification please!

Is this a House Wren? It is really, really tiny, about the size of a Red Breasted Nuthatch, or even smaller. He or she, was checking out all the feeders very early in the morning. Later in the day I watched it checking out the birdhouse, and even taking a twig inside. August is not a good time to be building a nest in Vermont!

That ring at the top of the feeder is about an inch in diameter.

Earlier in the week I had taken a photo of the birdhouse, thinking it was a shame that no one moved in this spring!

Thank you! I was quite sure it was a wren, but I had to do a little research to figure out which one. I agree, they are cool!
