Just curious if any folks who've been LowePro fans have tried the INCASE DSLR Pro Pack?

I purchased my first real gear bag somewhere around 10 years ago......when I picked up my LowePro AW3 bag. Plenty big, lots of zipper pockets, lots of weather-proofing. Honestly couldn't ask for better, and it has been put through the elements and survived. I've gotten more use than I could have even imagined, and then some.....from this bag. This is what makes me question going to another brand. Now I've got a couple of broken buckles now. The biggest concern, with a little too much pressure the zipper will pop open. Thankfully my gear hasn't spilled all over the place, but I've been extra careful to prevent that.

I've recently discovered INCASE, and it really just looks like someone else used the LowePro system and started their own line. So I'm hoping someone here has made the switch that can also testify to the quality of the LowePro, and give me some feedback comparing the quality of the two. I'm actually leaning towards another LowePro, but figured I'd give a listen to anyone who can speak on INCASE.

TIA :-)

I have Incase DSLR pro backpack. I notice you have a 1 series body. It won't fit. A 5D non grip is probably the biggest camera this backpack is designed for.

Just a long shot but are you aware that LowePro comes with a lifetime warranty? Details are at http://www.lowepro.com/support/warranty (external link).

I've had to use the warranty once over about 30 years of using LowePro products. A plastic clip broke on a bag. To be honest it was likely repairable by a shoemaker but after submitting some photographs LowePro sent a new bag and I used the packaging to return the old one.

It was service like this that was a key factor in me buying LowePro three years ago when I acquired new gear.

Thanks John! Had no clue. I'll send them some photos this weekend to see what they say.
