The Small Tortoishell is a beautiful butterfly IMO. This one posed for me nicely today while sipping salts from a leaf.

Meadow brown butterflies. Easy to overlook, but beautiful specimens can be found. Including the really fresh one shown in the last image (note the green iridescence)
I'm sharing the full set of these as I couldn't pick my fave shots.
