I spotted the possibility of an amazing shot while I was out taking care of my horses early Sunday morning. I never imagined that the Dove would hang around long enough for me to go get my camera and change the lens. I should have grabbed the tripod too! I had to get really low to get this to line up the way I wanted!

Thank you! I would have tried harder had I known she would pose like she did!

Thanks Terry! We all notice more when we take pictures...everything looks like a photo op!

Thanks Luxx. The ISO probably stayed the same for all. I tend to forget everything I know when I get in a hurry! I did take lots of shots at differing heights and angles, but only two shots where I focused on the moon. Unfortunately, none of them line up very well for a combined shot in post processing. (At least not with my skill level!)

Thank you! This is actually taken over the top of my house roof. It's a really tall tree!

A special Thank You to Pekka, for choosing my photo to be added to the "Best of" Gallery! I am truly honored to have a photo added to that elite group!

Has this been Photoshopped? Just kidding; I know it hasn't. Great capture, Sandy.

There will be days when you get the shot(s) you missed days, months or years before.
