Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I couldn't seem to find a help forum to put this. People have nicely liked my stuff but I don't know how to like posts myself. :-( please help. I would love to show some people how much I like their images without always having to post

Below every comment it says: [LIKE] this post. Just click on the [LIKE]. It's not just text but is actually a button. :)

Rose B., there are two forums for questions about how to use POTN. This screenshot will help you find them from the main page.

Hmmmm........putting it with "reply", "quote", "mq" - what a great idea!!!

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I dunno, I kinda like it the way it is...cuts down on the visual noise level. Maybe colorize it as a link. ;-)a

Colorizing might be misleading because it isn't a link. It's a button. If the button is simply moved over to the REPLY QUOTE MQ area, people will hit it when they aim for REPLY, the ones who now give unintended Likes when trying to view Likers. It needs extra space beside it.

Post command buttons are made less prominent (they get black text on hover) and time + edit info is moved so adding one button there is not adding to visual noise.

I don't think hitting like by accident is likely:

When you have not liked a post yet and there are likes already, you can hover the like button ca. 3 secs to view the liker list. If you then click the like, the list is automatically closed.

On your own posts like button is not rendered if there are no likes.

There will not be UNDO for likes yet. We'll see how this new arrangement will work first.

I call the next version 1.4. It is 99% done, I'm now finishing the [GALLERYIMAGE] tag stuff.

The way of doing this that you proposed seems excellent to me. I LIKE it!
