Holster Goldmember More info Post edited over 8 years ago by Holster. | Aug 07, 2015 15:29 | #7 No doubt that you don't want to get rid of every reflection but a CPL cant get rid of all of them and especially not on a black car. I usually only make it so it affects the biggest glare areas of the car which usually is the hood/windshield. If you had used one, the paint wouldn't have looked matte.

I hadn't thought of it in that exact way (matte). Subconsciously though, I tend to like making the windshield or store windows dark more than anything else. Here is the shot where I used a CPL.
