Purchased 2 rovelight and 2 flashpoint 1220m. Rovelight does its job as per the specs so far.
Both flashpoint 1220M blew fuse(s) and started very light smoke on the front.
Now I feel like what some other members posted about house brands are always not a good investment is true.

At the price point of $199, I still want to try out one last time. Main purpose is back fill light or side light.

Anyone will still buy even after 2 DOA of an electronic brand?

I have 2 flashpoint 620's and a 320 as well as a Rovelight. Bulletproof. You got a couple of bad ones. RMA and ask that they be tested before shipping. There's bad ones no matter what brand you get.

Yep, I still purchase.. I received a Profoto D1 kit back in the day and one of the flash would not operate. So your problem is not limited to house brands!!

Happy Shooting:lol:
