Soldier's Homecoming...

Alright, this is my first time posting in this forum, so don't beat me down too bad. Volunteered to take photos of our Regiment returning home from Iraq at several Welcome Home ceremonies. I returned with the advanced party several weeks ago, so that afforded me the opportunity to take some shots of the rest of our guys coming home. I took hundreds of photos. All indoor shots were taken at ISO 1600. These are just a few. No post-processing other than resizing done on the images. Let me know how I should improve my technique.

Truly remarkable photos.
I am thankful that these fine soldiers returned safely to their loved ones and mourn the loss of those that didn't.

Awesome shots! These images reminded me of when my husband returned home from Iraq. It was a very emotional time for me and my children. Words cannot express the feelings when Daddy finally came through that door. It was very difficult standing there, seeing him in formation, but not being able to go to him until he was released. Those last few minutes of waiting was a killer!
