A potentially good idea, accepts two Speedlites, nice baffle system........... but I see very few images from folks using them. $279. I'm looking for the nicest softest light I can achieve with one or two speedlites; I know I won't challenge the sun with this compared to a strobe but I have ND filters. Anyone have experience with this diffuser?

I've seen Speedring adapters for holding two flashes, but cost $170...... I could go this route and have more options for Bowen mount softboxes but I'll probably be approaching Westcott's pricing.

Thoughts?

Thank you

mp.
I keep looking at the Rapid Box Duo myself.
It does allow for two Speedlites mounted to the outside of the softbox. Since I was an early adaptor to the Canon 600 EX-RT system , this is not a huge issue for me. Add the reflector disk for a large Beauty dish look that is portable. Nice.
If you have the radio based Speedlite system, a less expensive option is the Apollo Orb. Buy a triple flash holder and you can mount one additional light compared to the Duo. Also the Orb is 43" and about half the price.
Again there are many similarities between many of the Westcott Speedlite friendly modifiers, but enough differences as well. That is why I have All of the Apollo's, minus the 50" Mega and the Rapid Box Octa and Strip. Depending on the mood, look, location, venue determines which to bring. For event work, the Westcott Octa Mini has its place as well moving through the crowd for example.
Go grab the Rapidbox Duo and report back to us. Why not?

I went to the dark side and found a used Rovelight, and dropped $170 for a Paul C Buff 47 inch octa softbox.

I think the Ricebowl 36" from cheetahstand blows the westcott out of the water and its 1/2 the price

Ricebowl is the best Mod I have ever used. Amazing light from this product
