Hello all!
I bought a Yongnuo yn560-tx & YN560-IV a while ago and have learned a little bit with manual flash. But I am finding that to make my light painting and getting into strobing cars I am in need of a second flash. A friend of mine sent me a picture showing that our local walmart has a sunpak 3000 for nikon for 59 bucks. I read some reviews and it seems about as good as the yongnuo but with TTL.

MY question is, will my camera mount trigger both my YN and the sunpak if I decide to buy it? I did a quick search and was unable to find anything about using the two together, so I figured I would come here and ask you guys!

Would I be ok not having an umbrella for that one as well? As strobing cars I would not need it, and I would probably use this one with the TTL for some low light photos. I already have a spare stand, just need to order another mount.

Thanks for taking the time to read and answer!

Hrm,

Not sure, are you mixing canon & nikon here? Or is this all nikon?

On another note, a Yongnuo 560 III is only $65 on the 'bay. Built in wifi. And your controller (560TX) and 560IV can both control it's power level remotely. Seems like a smarter way to go regardless.

Very best,

With the 560TX you won't be able to use the TTL of the Sunpak, but if you got a RF603, you could use that flash in manual mode.
If you want TTL, then you need the YN-622 triggers or something similar.

I bought my mom the canon version of that sunpak and the build quality sucks. I wouldn't compare it to the YN.
