Hi,

I have been experimenting with my 350D and macro extension tubes today. This is the first time I have done such photography. I would love to have some C & C. The main problem I had was in trying to focus because I use extension tubes, the depth of field is very shallow.

Nice captured naddie ... Recently, i also start using extension tubes on top of my raynox250. Yup shallow DOF is a challenge. End up gradually add the tubes 1 at a time plus lot of back & forth movement practise. anyway, lot of guru here, they will be able to give more constructive feedback ... hope to see more posting from u. happy shooting :)

Thank you very much for your positive words. :) I have done some simple experiments using pencils and pens and a nifty fifty. However, that needed me to be very close to the subject. This is why I decided to try out the 55-250mm lens. I was very surprised at the result. Sure, there were many blurred images, but I guess things will improve the more I practise.

Thank you very much. I will practise more when I get the chance. I have bookmarked your tips page, so I can refer to it often. Thanks.
