First time out with the Sigma art 35mm 1.4

Would love some feedback The Positives and some ways to make it better.

I'm guessing that this is one of a series that you captured after the lighting set-up and camera tripod mounted.
Then you walked around joking with the child and snapping pictures. It is one stellar image with superior lighting.

this is beautiful.

That image almost has an unreal feel to it. And that is not a bad thing to me. As mentioned above, if you had moved them to the right bottom third, you could have gotten a bit more of that interesting sky and tree on the left. But that is nit picking.
The shot is actually quite lovely.

I'm willing to accept that nothing is ever perfect. But this is a picture of 2 people (mother/child?), and the setting is terrific. The sky and tree add a nice completion without taking over the image. Any improvement is simply splitting hairs. Very nice work here.

Thanks everyone, I look forward to getting out there some more with that lens. Sigma is really blowing me away lately.
