Does anyone here use the Strobies? Specifically the 360w/s model.

Wondering how you like them and if you have any history or comparison to the QFlash.

Thanks!!

I've never used the Quantum, but the Strobies flash is the same thing as the Cheetahlight CL360, Godox/Wistro/Neewer AD360, and a bunch of other names. I have a CL360 and love it. There are quite a few other users here too...their threads are just titled with a different name for the strobe.

I love my CL360; unless you have a predilection for shooting into full midday sun it has plenty of power for everything I've tried so far. Most of the Quantum accessories will fit, too - like the QF63 reflector and similar items. It is also a newer generation strobe than the Quantum, and I have heard it's better designed both internally and externally.

Question for anyone that may know.

What's the reliability of these Strobies/Cheetah/Godox lights compared to the Quantums?

Can I expect the same kind of survivability out of the units? Ie; being transported around and handled routinely.

No problems with mine. It's even survived a couple of stands falling over. It doesn't come with a bulb protector, so I'd order one to help keep it covered when it's stored.
