I've not posted a set of images here before, so hope you like these....

These are shots from the Silverstone Classic a few weeks ago, which means they are a bit late. It's a phenomenal 3-day event that was unfortunately delayed a little because of the weather this year, but the selection of cars on show was unreal. These are just a few of those......my favourite was the Group C race at twilight.

Overall pretty nice. I personally just can't get enough of historic racing. There's one thing here that bugs me though. I can deal with the tilt, but in almost all of your pans the subject is centered in the frame. Try moving it around to create a more interesting composition.

Hi Kenneth - I'm normally fairly conscious of the benefits of keeping things out of the centre, so it may be just these few images here, or more likely, I need to be even more conscious of it in future. Either way - thank you for the great observation.

Oh what a weekend that was for the weather, shame I didn't know you where there would of been good to bump into you.

I will only echo what Kenneth said about the composition. The Porsche Martini shot on your flickr is great expect the reds look more pink.

Cheers Martin, weather was appalling alright. Don't mind a bit of rain, but when it starts to interfere with cars running…..
