Hi Everyone,

How do you enable to show the EC in the viewfinder when you are on manual mode?

Thanks,
Christian

I believe the graph on the right side of the viewfinder is the ec, but would have to check in the morning.

Does your cat work for Canon? He/she may have just sold me a 7d mk2...... Even just in Lightroom, what little noise there is (for iso12800) those files clean up so easily compared to the mk1. I want to go full frame, but i may just buy the 7d mk2 now and hold off on adding a full frame until the 5d mk4 comes along and see what that brings to the party. Thanks for posting those files....

lol, yes, in fact we named the cat Canon... :D

Here is a pretty tight crop to show the 12800 noise, and where I am currently in 7D2 noise reduction action development. Not all 12800 come out like this though, just a warning. I haven't quite figured out exactly what the recipe is.

Agreed TS. Same conclusions. I have both and use both in my workflow. Im hesitant to go past 4000 with the 7D2 for wedding work and im pushing rt if i do.

also, have you or anyone noticed a green cast to the files. Auto AWB seems to work better for color..weird. So Im shooting a lot with K and correcting in post. My LCD it looks green and in post it looks green. My Only complaint. Great Camera.

17-55 is killer on the 7D2 for wedding togs. and the extra reach with the 70-200 and 100-400 is phenomenal

Um.
Great to hear about the 7D Mark II performance for weddings. Having the 17-55 and 7D's basically siting idle as I have been shooting with the 5D Mark III's for almost two years, the benefit of the Sports and BIF have been apparent on the 7D and even better with the 7DII. Now with your proven recommendation of wedding performance is even more enticing as sometimes I need to provide a second camera for second shooter.

I use my 7D and use my 7D2 for weddings. I saved the low light stuff for my FF.
