Moonglow

The setting moon behind Mt. Fitz Roy lights up the clouds like a spotlight. This was a 2 1/2 minute test shot to check my composition as it was quite dark out and hard to see. I took a couple of shots trying to dial in the composition and after the 2nd one I couldn't feel my feet as the thigh-deep water here was *cold*. I was planning on staying here for sunrise but I couldn't take the cold and moved to a spot further downriver that was a little warmer

Wonderful, wonderful photo. I looked at your other photos on Flicker. You do outstanding work. It looks like this wasn't the only time you stood in the water.

Thanks! I probably get in the water more than I really have to... That got me thinking and I just looked at my Flickr photos and 23 out of the 27 have water in the shot. I'm going to have to mix it up a little
