I should clarify...it's not a true time lapse film...but you'll get the idea. Never had tried anything like this before. Overall...I was pleased with the results.

I use Canon gear...have several bodies and lenses and am quite pleased with them.

I myself enjoyed the video . Music was good also . I have spent many times camping in the State Park at Ft.Davis and enjoyed the Star Shows at the McDonalds Observatory . Were you located in the Park or in the surrounding area ? One of the best places is ontop of Lookout Mountain inside the park . You can usually buy a pass to be up there pass 10pm and it has the best views ever !

This was my second time in this spot...took the road up past the visitor center and was probably down a couple of hundred yards from the observatory...there's a 'lookout' spot there but we were the only ones there that night. Great view for sure...stayed from sunset to 3AM

Thanks

Good spot, very dark there. They have a Star Party every year in May at the Prude Ranch. Last about 4 days I think . lot's of telescopes and good people. You can look up the Prude Ranch online and find out about it. You can make reservations to stay there if you do it early enough. They have people from all over and other countries even that go. They scope and take pictures all night. Just make sure you never shine headlights there, use red lights only.
