I was in the Adirondacks last week in upstate New York and had clear, dark skies. Set up shooting the Milky Way and managed to capture this shot with a Perseid passing through. The shot could be sharper but I was amazed at what comes to life out of the night sky. Still working on PP.

Personally I think your image is great and the sharpening is not needed more . Too much sharpening can ruin an image . Really liking the reflections also .

I like this a lot. Was this a series of stacked images, or a tracker?

Single image. I don't have the metadata on the image on my iPad, but I believe this image was ISO 1600 30 sec at f2.8. I shot multiple images at 1600 and 3200 with 20 to 30 second exposures.

Celestron, appreciate your comments and agree on the reflections. On some of my other images I framed a bit more of the lake and you can pick up the reflection of the Milky Way itself. In PP I'm playing around with levels and curves to expand a bit more dynamic range -- this is a bit new to me.

For what I see in this image you are doing fine. Yes night shots are a lot different from day shots. Trend is trying to change the way a astro image should look . A lot are making foregrounds so bright it takes away from the night sky. Those kind are very few that I like at all. Your image is in line now of being correct. Myself I'm a die hard amateur astronomer whose retiring this year from physical involvement. But I still love the hobby! Keep posting, look forward to more of your images.
