I thought I would try again.

The Golden-crowned Kinglets were quite numerous migrating through Northern Michigan on 22-August. I got a few shots that I liked. A standard portrait and one I like better even though it was quite a way up in the tree.

Nice job! I went looking for migrants on Sunday, but only saw an Osprey. Not much going on here yet since it's still early, but they will be coming soon.

Zach--C&C is welcome on my photos

Thank for the comments Luis and Beekeeper.

Yes, it's definitely migration we are seeing here. I happened to walk up on a migration wave and the area was full of movement and sound. The Red-eyed Vireos, American Redstarts, Yellow-rumpled Warblers , and Golden-crowned Kinglets were all over. In one tree I saw six REVI, even three in one bins view. Warbler neck never felt so good.

Keep 'em flying,
Greg B

Beautiful Greg. I've seen them here but they are so quick for me on both times I've seen them.

Well captured Greg.

Migration has started for some of the species already here. We have had a couple waves of various species through. Great time of the year.
