many ways for a macro
you can put a magnifying lens in front,
take off the lens and put it more forward,
invert the lens.

Back in the days when dinosaurs roamed the earth... :p

before pull tabs...

before pop top cans...

before twist off bottle caps...

There were "CHURCH KEYS"

Pardon me for jumping in with a Public Service Annoucement: it is possible for someone with the right tools to duplicate a key from a picture, even one which doesn't show the entire key. Be advised and be careful. (Back to lurking now.)

Yeah, I saw the video last year. Pretty scary isn't it. And only like $10

Thank you

A revolver lock:

Morse code keys:

From L to R:
Signal Electric J-38, pre WW-II US Army Signal Corp. Unfortunately the wood base is not original.
The red key is a homemade key I use with a portable radio.
The black key is from a US Navy WW-II carrier based fighter squadron deployed on the USS Saratoga. It's a flame proof key made by J.H Bunnell & Company.

Some great locks, although the lock and chain look stronger than the door in the first shot.

Old Crow, Nice key rack showing the trend toward "electronic" keys.

Imaginative interpretations during the past few days!

A couple of locks in a business district:

And here's something that's labeled a lock, which is obviously wrong because it's a key.

PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | A FEW CORRECT SPELLINGS: lens, aperture, amateur, hobbyist, per se, raccoon, whoa, more so (2 wds.), shoo-in | Comments welcome
