hi all, i bought an canon 700d to replace my sony a390, im strugging to find a remote triggering device to use with studio flash guns

Several options. If you are using Canon flashes, the 700D should (may) be able to master them by itself. If the camera is not capable of mastering, you can use a Canon 550EX, 580EX or 580EX II. Yongnuo also makes several units that work with Canon's master/slave system. I don't know model numbers.

Or, you can use a PC-sync cord. I don't think the 700D has a sync-port, but you can add one via the hot shoe.

I use YN-622C-TX to control off-camera flash, and YN-622C units to fire the off-camera units.

To avoid buying more than once, there are some extra questions (nearly any radio flash trigger can be made to do what you are requesting).

Which Strobes; brand & type?
Future interest in remotely adjustable power fraction setting by Group?
Above max sync speed functionality?
Speedlites in the mix?
E/ITTL in future?
